Apple introduced the new Mini 2021 in the iPad-series with the most powerful processor also seen in the iPhone 13-series along with cool camera's and a new touch ID inbuilt.

Apple launched the iPad Mini along with the iPhone 13-series on 14th September 2021 in its September Event in California.

It launched the iPad Mini with its most powerful processor and an improved camera system along with an inbuilt Touch ID and priced it at Rs 46,990 for the base variant.

It comes in 4 color options:

• Pink
• Purple
• Starlight

SUMMARY

The all-new iPad mini (2021) Wi-Fi comes with an 8.3-inch Liquid Retina display that is larger than the 7.9-inch screen available on the earlier iPad mini. The new model is also powered by the latest A15 Bionic chip that is rated to deliver up to 80 percent faster performance than the previous generation.

Both the front and rear cameras on the new iPad feature a 12MP sensor, as is standard for Apple it seems. The rear one also comes with a dual-tone flash, to help take better photos in low light conditions and supports Smart HDR as well as 4K video recording. This is aided further by the new ISP and algorithms powered by the A15 Bionic processor.

The front camera has seen the biggest boost. It features a wider sensor than previous FaceTime cameras on older iPad mini models, and that means Apple has been able to give the new smaller tablet Centre Stage support. 

One big change is the move away from the Lightning connector for charging and data transfer. Just like the iPad Air, the new iPad mini features a USB-C port, and that - in turn - means faster data transfers and compatibility with more accessories and peripherals.
