SUMMARY

Redmi Earbuds 3 Pro comes with a beautiful design with a matte finish on the charging case and earbuds. The touch panels on the outside have a glossy finish, though. They support double-tap gestures play/pause music playback, answer calls, and activate the voice assistant. You can also touch and hold to easily switch between tracks.
Redmi Earbuds 3 Pro comes with dual drivers support. Yeah, you don’t have just one, but two drivers – one dynamic driver and one balanced armature driver. It also comes equipped with the Qualcomm QCC3040 chipset and uses Bluetooth 5.2 for connectivity. The TWS earbuds also support Qualcomm’s aptX codec for improved audio quality and low latency while watching videos or playing games.

Furthermore, each of the earbuds weighs only 4.6 grams and is super lightweight. The total weight, including the charging case, comes to just 51 grams. The Redmi Earbuds 3 Pro is also easily pocketable. The earbuds also support in-ear detection and IPX4 water resistance, meaning you can wear them to the gym or for runs without any worries.

REVIEW

A big advantage of the shape of the Redmi Earbuds 3 Pro is that the touch-sensitive areas on each earpiece are quite large. There's enough space for accurate gestures, although the controls themselves are a bit tricky. A single tap doesn't do anything; a double-tap on the left invokes the voice assistant on your paired smartphone, and a double-tap on the right plays and pauses the music. Touching and holding the left or right earpiece skips to the previous or next track respectively. There is no companion app for the Redmi Earbuds 3 Pro, so these controls aren't customizable.

Battery life on the Redmi Earbuds 3 Pro was decent, with the earpieces running for a little over five hours per charge in normal conditions with the volume at moderate levels and the aptX Adaptive or aptX Bluetooth codecs in operation. The charging case added over four full charges, for a total battery life of close to 28 hours per charge cycle. This is pretty impressive for a headset in this price range and with this feature set. There's no fast charging though, and the case will take around three hours to recharge when fully drained.
For this price, there's a lot on offer, including a dual-driver setup, support for the Qualcomm aptX Adaptive Bluetooth codec, and a promise of good battery life. The Redmi Earbuds 3 Pro seems impressive but it lacks ANC and there is some connectivity issue with this earphone. This Earphone is basically focused on Music Listening and Binge Watching.
